Modern, unique lighting, comfortable stay. We missed our flight and needed a place to crash at the last minute. Since Munich city center would have been a trek, we thought we would check out this nearby village of Freising. To our delight, this hotel was well situated just one block from the historic city center with cute shops and restaurants without being touristy. FYI The cab costs 40€ one way from the airport but the bus is convenient with the nearest stop a close walk from the hotel and only costs 4€.

Shoutout to the team of Achat Hotel for their great service! I’ve met the most friendly receptionists here! I had a problem with the wifi on my first day there, but got a helpful advice about it from one of the receptionist who came to my room directly as soon as called. Complained about it again in the 2nd day, but then I was moved to the other room, thanks to very helpful and responsive receptionist. Additionally, thanks to the housekeeper who did the job very neatly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

I unfortunately had to stay here as a friend I was travelling with had a medical emergency and was sent from the airport to the hospital in Freisling. That said if you have an early flight from Munich and want to spend the night in a pretty town with lots of nice restaurants I would not hesitate to recommend here. Taxi time approx 20 minutes to the airport. Breakfast really excellent and the waitress was lovely.

Good Swedish-buffet-style breakfast, which had everything I would want, for example, eggs (both hard-boiled and scrambled), ham, yoghurt + cereals/muesli, fruit salad, coffee, water, fruit juice etc. Location is in a quiet area, 800 m away from the train station, from where you can take the regional train to go to the airport. Freising is a nice little town.

The weekend we stayed there there was a lot of snow, the train service stopped, airport was closed, some of the cleaning personal did not arrive on time, and a lot of people had no chance to travel. Even in this critical situation the staff kept calm and was very nice and helpful. Thank you for the patience
